I’ve been paying for my plex pass since August this year. Everything looks and works nice on my PC and laptop but it doesn’t work when I try to play media through my chromecast device in the back of my TV. The chromecast device works fine for TED talks, bbc iplayer etc but all I get with plex is a little slowly spinning arrow saying loading. Nothing ever loads though. It doesn’t matter what the video file is.
Obviously I feel a bit silly paying for this service considering it doesn’t work for me. The whole point of having the pass was to be able to watch my media though a nice interface on my TV. Am I doing something wrong?

PS I have an old popcorn hour media player which used to work great. I had some software called oversite which gave me a movie wall of posters to navigate through my media. Sadly it won’t download metadata anymore so I need to come up with another solution. Hence me getting Plex. Does anyone know if there are there any other HDD based movie players which provide a movie wall type experience?
