I'm trying to get Wireless working on rasplex. The pi gets the IP address from DHCP on my router, however it can't seem to find any servers. Can anybody provide any insight into what the possible issue could be?
Edit: Tried the following steps
tried rasplex 0.5.0
forced DHCP to give pi a specific IP address
reinstalled berryboot
The pi gets the IP from DHCP, however nothing else seems to work. I cannot ping the device, nor can I SSH into it.

Are you sure that it's not Berryboot causing the problem, try flashing an SD Card with version 0.5.0 without Berryboot, other users use this WiFi dongle without issues.
I have the exact same problems.
wn725n on rasplex .5 (and .51)
Tried it with and without Berryboot.
Excluded powerproblems.
With wired connection all works perfectly.
The wn725n adapter works, is able to connect to all Wifi AP's.
Pinging the Rasplex shows fluctuating response times. Ranging from good to unable to connect.
Intermittend I'm able to connect to my PMS and browse the menu's, but never able to start a movie.
Distance to any AP doesn't matter
While wired, the ping time remains absolutely stable. (<3 ms)
Update: As there was a coloured (rainbow) square in my right upper corner, I found out it signals an underpowered Raspi.
I've installed a beefier PSU and the wn725n worked fine. (streaming video again)
But.... just until I rebooted it and the problems were back again. No conclusions yet. The rainbow square is gone and with using wired internet, the Rasplex 0.5 version works fine.
