Program guide always says Unknown Airing unless you go hours in the future

For a while now, maybe a year? My program guide always shows Unknown Airing for all channels. If i go forward many hours in the guide, maybe 8 it starts showing guide data. However you would only ever see it if you left plex running all the time, going back to the guide at a later time resets everything to unknown airing (unless you go forward many hours). Any ideas"

Here are 2 examples. Current time and then looking forward in time on the guide

Server Version#: 4.145.1
Player Version#: Any
Tuner Make/Model: HDHomeRun CONNECT DUO
Guide/Lineup name: All
Using XMLTV?: No
Channel number/Name: All

That’s not the server version, that’s the web client version. To see the server version, go to Settings → [Select Server Name] → General. This is the second “General” section in the list on the left.

When the guide is viewed in the web client, and it is showing unknown airings, what happens if you refresh the page? Does it update any of them? Or do they all still show unknown?

As a troubleshooting step, try deleting and recreating the DVR. This will force it to completely recreate the guide data rather than refreshing it.

Finally, it might be helpful for you to provide your debug server logs (click the orange link for instructions on how to configure and collection them).

Thanks, server version is 1.41.4.9463 but its been ongoing. I have completely deleted and rebuilt the DVR stuff. Refreshing the page does nothing and the behavior is the same on Apple TV, Google TV, phone clients. Basically any client.

I just opened plex again and checked the guide, now you dont see any guide data till 4am.

Just to check, but are you certain the time and date are set correctly on the server? You didn’t mention your host platform, but it looks like you’re on Unraid, presumably Docker. You may need to set your TZ environment variable for the container. Also, you may want to consider passing “/etc/localtime” through to the container as a read-only volume.

Thats what it was, the time was wrong on my server. It makes sense as one of the log files i uploaded said “tomorrow” for the date lol.

Similar problem here. Just brought up Plex on LG TV and Amazon Fire TV connected to a server on QNAP NAS. USing Silicon Dust Tuner. The TV guide is only showing programming until 4:00PM this afternoon. Then its all “Updating”.
