Program restarts if I try to fast forward a DVR program.

Does anyone else have an issue with DVR programs recorded with a HDHomeRun that are unable to skip forward?

My family records a few shows OTA on our HDHomeRun Extend via Plex. When my wife sits down to watch those programs, she says she has to watch through the commercials because if she tries to skip forward to FF through them, most of the time the program will freeze and restart on her. So she gave up because she was tired of having it restart from the beginning.

This is on Android TV Mi Box using the Extend on the 1080p 60fps transcoding quality level. Latest server version 1.9.3. Latest Android TV app version.

Just see if this is a larger issue or an issue with the Mi Box or an issue with just me.

I primarily use Nvidia Shields and do not have the problem with that client. Both fast forward and 30 sec skips work great. I have seen that problem with other clients such as the one that is on my Tivo box. Have not tried FF with the windows client … in fact I would love to know how to do 30 sec skip with the Win or Mac clients but never have looked to hard for that if it is even there. On those I simply click on the progress bar a little to the right to jump forward.
