What is the proper naming conventions for 3D movies? The User Guide makes no mention and based upon search results I have tried the following but none have worked for the movie playing properly:
I just see the actual Side by Side, not in 3D.
Plex itself does nothing with 3D files and has no specific naming for it. no official Plex player app or the server will do anything with it. it just sends the file as is.
The only player that does is the Samsung Smart Hub app made by a third party user Orca has info in the user manual he made for that player https://forums.plex.tv/discussion/71090/download-the-user-manual-here#latest

I realize this is a bit of thread necromancy but:
"You can also use Plex VR to watch any 3D or 360-degree videos saved on your Plex server. First, you’ll need to slightly change their file names, adding “3D-SBS” or “3D-OU” (depending on the file format ) for 3D videos, and “Proj-360" or “Proj-180" for 360-degree or 180-degree videos. The new file name should look something like “Trippy Sphere - Proj-360.mp4.”
