Has anyone experienced problems with extreme buffering on some files on the PS3?
It appears that AC3 stereo files (2.0) cause unwatchable buffering stalls for me. It is not network bandwidth nor CPU transcode load, as lowering quality to 320 kbps doesn’t help and my transcode speed scores are in the 20’s.
The only workaround is to disable the Dolby Digital (AC3) check box in the PS3 app’s settings.
Same files work on other devices without issue.

Is the PS3 connect with ethernet? If not try that
