PS3 Client Woes

Today I installed Plex Media Server on my Win7 Ultimate x64 system. The client install for IOS devices went as planned. Unfortunately, my PS3 is a bit more reluctant to play well with others. I receive the dreaded “No media servers found” when I launch the Plex app from ‘TV/Video Services’. HOWEVER! I can verify the connection from the PS3 to the MS is actually working by connecting to the Plex MS under the ‘Video’ selection. I have a subscription to PlexPlus, and I see the PS3 registered on the server as a device. The fact that I can bypass the PS3 app and deal directly with the MS makes me think there is a problem with version 2.4.13 of the Plex app for PS3. I have even gone as far as to delete the app from the PS3 & reinstall…NADA!!!

Ideas?

Hi jspeegle1. If it’s failing on all our PS devices please make sure you’ve signed into your Plex Media Server. Have you gone through the trouble shooting in https://help.plex.tv/noserver?
