Plex on my PS3 is not working. I uninstalled and reinstalled but that hasn’t helped. When I launch Plex it wants me to sign in. Then its supposed to give me a code but fails, asks me to Refresh Code, fails again, and then freezes Plex entirely. The only option is to quit Plex. The screen shows Diagnostic Code BUDAPEST in the lower left of the screen. I found a post with that Diagnostic code Budapest for a Sony Bravio TV, but they don’t seem to have any resolution either.
Please help resolve this issue.
Crickets? Really? I’m a Plex Pass subscriber, this is disappointing. Its been 3 months…

The code means that it failed to receive a link code from plex.tv or plex tv failed to generate one.
but not sure why that would be happening for that specific device.
if you try an app like Plex Media Player on your computer on same network as PS3 does that display the code? (the interface is pretty much the same so should be in same place as PS3)
I’m having the same error on my PS4. This is especially frustrating as I’ve just spent days getting the PMS to work again on my Windows 7 laptop after being advised to upgrade the PMS. Additionally, every other time I try to access Plex.tv in my browser, I get a internal server error. What is going on?
