PS3 Play back issue no Video but Audio is working fine

Hi All,
I am trying to stream video (wired) from my home PC to my PS3 via the plex app. Some movies play fine, others are choppy and some are playing only audio but no video.
 
My hardware is:
 
Motherboard: B85M-ITX
CPU: Intel Pentium G3258 3.2GHz Unlocked Dual Core CPU, LGA1150, 3MB cache, 53W Max TDP, BX80646G3258 (not over clocked)
RAM: 8GB
 
I changed the local streaming quality from 8 Mbps to 1.5Mbps and some of the movies that where choppy with playback began playing fine.
 
I then used Handbrake to convert some of the movies that were playing only audio but no video with some PS3 presets i found on the net and after the conversion these movies started playing fine.
 
Now i'm not really excited about converting my entire media library to ensure all my movies have the exact same encoding etc so i am hoping some people could give me some other suggestions around these issues.

Having same problem. All my videos work on Chromecast, Roku stick and Amazon Fire stick. Won’t be re-encoding my library, but would like to see this work.


All videos are m4v encoded with aac audio.
