Ps3 plex app unable to connect to the server on a local network

Hi Tom I’m using a ps3 plex app to connect to my server on my laptop but am unable to connect via the app on ps3

IIRC the PS3 app is no longer supported. Could be it’s gotten quite dated and is no longer working with the current version of your server.

Can you still access the server if you disable secure connections on your server (Settings > [Server Name] > Network > Secure connections → Disabled)? That shouldn’t be your default setting but it might help to understand the issue.

On my android phone and iPad I had to disable secure connections in the settings to access my server on my local network. I tried port forwarding also to no avail. In settings in my server itself I have secured connections set to preferred but I’m not sure how to disable that in the drop down menu.
