PS3 user buffering every 5 minutesa

Hi

Sorry for the quick and dirty request for help. I am trying to help someone from a faraway land watch my plex on their PlayStation 3. It’s buffering every 5 minutes. Is there a sure way for the end user to improve the situation, or is it hopeless, or do we need to start some detailed troubleshooting?

Not sure what the issue could be, but the Plex app on the PS3 is no longer supported, so it’s unlikely you’ll be able to get a fix even if we could find the problem.

If it’s happening consistently every 5 minutes, that sounds like some sort of network issue. I would check your network and make sure there isn’t something running that might be interfering.
