I’m kinda desperate lol i hope someone could actually help me
I have the latest version of plex media server installed on my computer at home running Windows 10 2004.
It is connected to a full bandwidth ethernet network (1Gbs down 500Mbs up 1ms ping) so there is no chance that this is the bottleneck, especially when i stream upon LAN
The computer itself runs a ryzen 3600X with 32Gb of RAM, it clearly has the potential to handle plex flawlessly.
My problem is that whenever and wherever i try to play a movie from the plex online player, on a remote client, the player instantly buffers 5min of playtime, then stops buffering, and when i eventually reach the 5min playtime mark it stops playing and keeps buffering forever. Then I hit F5, it buffers instantly the 5 next minutes, and the same problem occurs 5 minutes later.
This is particularly annoying, pressing f5 every 5 minutes completely ruins the watch experience, but I didn’t manage to find any setting that could get it to work continuously.
Anyone have an idea?
