PS4 App & Fire TV Stick App won't find my local PMS

Hi,

since 1 or 2 weeks both apps PS4 & FTV won’t show my local PMS, but are still showing my remote Server.
But if i browse to http://192.168.1.254:32400/web/ the web player pops up and i can watch Movies/Series via Chrome or any other Browser.
I already activated the Debug&Verbose Error Log, because I thought maybe I could see something that helps me fix it, but that was a dead end. :confused:

FTV IP: 192.168.1.150 (because my PS4 IP isn’t showing up in any of the Logs)

I can see requests those Requests but the Librarys are still not showing up in the FTV or PS4 app.
So i tried to logout and login to plex.

Fun Fact, Plex is not able to activate the remote access, at least the webinterface says so. But if I use my Windows VM which is hosted at a datacenter. I can access the Web Player but can only see my Remote Server but not the local one, which is kind of strange because it’s the one who’s displaying the Web Player.

Do you have any idea why it’s not working or are you aware of that problem because other users have the same issue?

PMS Version: 0.9.12.4
PS4 APP: 2.4.13
FTV APP: 4.5.0.372

Android App shows both servers. My public and my local PMS.

I set my server to force TLS, as soon as this happened all my PS4 and Roku devices stopped working. All my other units work fine, I updated/uninstalled and reinstalled the apps on those devices. Still nothing will see the server but does not show content, if I remove the force everything works.

Could we please get an update on the TLS support for the clients?

Hi drags4ck have you looked in https://help.plex.tv/noserver for your PS4?

Mehammered we haven’t enabled SSL on the PS3 and PS4 because we’ve had to work around several platform bugs and need more testing.

that didn’t fix the problem back in july, the issue fixed itself with a newer version of the PS4 app in September.

I sometimes still loose the connection to the server, but then a re-login with my account on the server fixes the issue.
