Not sure when it started, but I discovered it Sunday (09/19/15). The latest server version (0.9.12.11) is installed.
I have signed out and back in on the PS3 and PS4 apps multiple times. Our tablets, smartphones and PC’s are connected and working fine.
Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Is your server available outside your network? Can you check on your smartphone with the wifi off to make sure this is the case? The preview applications require your server to be connected to the plex.tv servers to verify your plex pass status.

It is not available outside of my network. I was going to work on doing that this weekend. By default the AT&T U-Verse modem is blocking. I am signed into Plex on my server which should be sufficient to verify my PLEX PASS. The PS’s are PIN activated (re-did that a few times).
Unfortunately that is not how it works. I believe it’s also similar to the Xbox apps, in that they console doesn’t let you do network traversal to locate the server so it needs to go to plex.tv to find the local ip and be able to contact the server. It will need to be accessible remotely for the console apps to work.
Well that’s weird…
The apps haven’t worked since this past Saturday, hence the post. I just got home and tried again and I am completely surprised to say they are working now. i certainly appreciate your assistance adamskoog, but the server settings are saying that: Your server is signed in to Plex, but is not reachable from outside your network. Learn more!

Weird, they must have changed that on that app, jolly good. Glad it’s working for you. 
Heya, just to be clear, you don’t have to make your server accessible to the Internet for the app to work. You only absolutely have to sign your server.

Came home from being out of town Saturday and Part of Sunday. I was trying to set up so that i could remote access. I check my ps4 to find out i am having problems with my ps4 and android. neither seem to want to find my library, even though it is running. I power cycled my router, checked the plex help section, even reinstalled the app, but nothing worked. Any help?
Same here. I haven’t fired up the PS4 to watch Plex in awhile. Tonight I fired up the server on my Mac and saw a new update to install, so I did. Now the PS4 is telling me it cannot find my server or its not on. It most certainly is and my activity log sees the PS4 accessing the account.
I logged off, logged on, logged off, logged on, etc…
What happenedin this new update that is killing the reason I pay for Plex in the first place?
