About a week ago, my plex app just froze completely for no reason. So I closed it and reopened it - nothing.
Restarted the PS4 - still nothing.
I’ve since uninstalled and reinstalled the app, and it freezes immediately, and won’t even try to let me press the sign in button.
I’m completely lost, and have no way of getting this thing back to a working state.
The PS4 reports that the version number is 1.04, if that helps.
What else can I do?

Turns out mine was a controller issue, I tried a different PS4 controller and it works fine
I have same problem of Plex not starting on PS4.
I have the same issue and it never worked for Me. I have been trying to run plex app on my PS4 for last 4 years but no luck. It always freezes in login screen. It works perfectly when I change secure connections to disable. Normally I keep it preferred but then I have to forget about plex ps4 app. That’s what I did last 4 years but I need it to get to work some how while secure connections enabled on plex server.
Any ideas guys?
