I just enabled early access and, okay, the UI looks good in general. But it still does not solve the problem of a lack of good Collection display on PS4.
There is now an option to view All Movies OR view Collections. Why is it so hard to just view everything organized in Collections as I would see files organized in folders on a computer? Say I have 50 files in a main folder, and I put 5 of the files in one sub folder and 5 of the files in another sub folder; when I view the main folder, I don’t only get to see the remaining 40 files OR the two folders…I see the two folders and the other files.
Give us an option to view all of our videos the way we organize them. Individual movies and collections. In one place.
This is actually fixed by going to the Plex Web UI and updating the settings. On the Plex main screen, where it lists your libraries on the left side…click the (…) dots next to the Movies library. Click “Edit.” Under “Advanced” settings there is a setting that says “Collections” with a drop down menu. If you are looking to show Collections AND the movies that are not in collections all on the same page, you would just select “Hide items which are in collections.” Hope this helps!
I’m not sure why, but I can’t figure out how to queue up music since the PS4 Plex app updated and I find it quite annoying. It was simple and intuitive in the last version of the app, so I’m not sure what happened. I ahven’t been able to find anything in the articles or anywhere else. Anyone that can help me?
Hello, greetings from Germany. I use the Plex app on my Playstation 4. Since the update came out, it does not work anymore. I start the app / enter my user pin and then he loads … and loads … and loads … nothing happens. When I disconnect my Playstation from the account and re-left it works the first time! What can it be?
