[Implemented] Plex App for PS4

With the arrival of a great looking Plex app for the Xbox One, this is a request for a PS4 equivalent. Both consoles are huge sellers, and it makes sense to cover both bases. So please Plex, develop an official PS4 app!

+1 Although I am pretty sure PS4 has Cinavia like the ps3.  I am unsure if having it as a third party app rather than using DLNA would avoid that issue.  Either way would still love to see plex on more platforms.

Sony NEEDS to get the Plex team working on an official app. DLNA alone won't do. We need a full-fledged Plex app like the one they just released on the Xbox One.

Sony NEEDS to get the Plex team working on an official app. DLNA alone won't do. We need a full-fledged Plex app like the one they just released on the Xbox One.

lucianod has a valid point that DLNA alone won't do it. A full blown app will provide richness to the experience. This would provide the small things, like searching by multiple genre's and possibly the combination of genre and actor, i.e. drama with Robin Williams, or Comedy with Robin Williams.

The holiday season's will be here soon, and will be interesting to see where the Xbone and PS4 will be. I do hope Plex will have something for the PS4 by then.

I'll buy a PS4 the day this happens. I'm just waiting for DLNA but Plex would be SOOOO much better.

Plex is also releasing a plex app for xbox 360. I demand equality. No discrimination :)
