I used to have this option selected in the PS4 app, for AC3 capable receiver. But now it is not showing up. Under Audio settings all I have is Volume Boost.
I went from plex mac to plex linux. Audio is identified as AC3 5.1. But the server is transcoding to aac. It was not before. Under Web settings I have allow DirectPlay of Ac3 check. But that should not apply
Any thoughts?
I was using Plex 09.11.13 on Mac and just went to 09.11.16 on linux.... just for more information.
and my app was updated to 2.3.22. I suspect Plex has either taken AC3 support away or broken it as it was working BEFORE the 19th of March when this version came out.
Restored the setting March 23 ~5:12pm PST. This was a Plex bug, it slipped right through our fingers. Thanks for the reports; sorry for miss!
