PS5: Cannot open movie/show details at all

Server Version#: 1.31.0.6654
Player Version#: 1.006.000

I cannot open anything on the PS5 Plex app since today. I’m not sure if there was an update or not, but on Monday everything was working fine.

What happens is that I can see the list of movies/tv shows just fine, however trying to open antyhing (pressing ‘X’) does nothing. Can’t play a movie, can’t go into the season/episode list of a show. This happens both for my own library and a friends library that he’s sharing with me.

After enabling client logs I can see the following error when accessing a show through the library tab:

[Req#5c1a] [Plex for PlayStation 5] [lajcik:bx40dt5svif9egxeuwwv04ow] [Unhandled Rejection]: undefined is not an object (evaluating 'c[e].call') p@https://app.plex.tv/tv-ps5-600/main.js:1:82110 @https://app.plex.tv/tv-ps5-600/packages_app_screens_preplayScreens_PreplayScreen_tsx.js:1:4765 p@https://app.plex.tv/tv-ps5-600/main.js:1:82115 p@[native code] promiseReactionJob@[native code]

Navigating through the home/recommended tab opens the show itself but (and I can see the season list on top) but theres no episodes. This error shows in the console:

[Req#61b8] [Plex for PlayStation 5] [lajcik:bx40dt5svif9egxeuwwv04ow] [Unhandled Rejection]: Cannot access uninitialized variable. default@https://app.plex.tv/tv-ps5-600/packages_app_screens_preplayScreens_EpisodesHubPreplayScreen_tsx.js:1:207 @https://app.plex.tv/tv-ps5-600/packages_app_index_ts.js:1:60455 asyncFunctionResume@[native code] @[native code] promiseReactionJobWithoutPromise@[native code] promiseReactionJob@[native code]

I am able to resume playback by pressing square but that’s about it.
The browser client on pc works fine of course.

I’ve tried resetting the PS5 plex app settings and reinstalling it but the problem persists. :frowning:

exactly the same issue. i got the title of the selected show on top and can play movies from my home screen via square or options&play. but the menu is broken and my categories show nothing. did the same thing. otherwise via webbrowser on other machines no issues.
