I habitually use plex on my apple tv and I never got a single problem. It work smoothly and it’s really pleasant to watch movies/tv show on it.
But recently I had to lend my apple tv to a friend then I tried to use plex on my ps5… WTF ?
I never seen an app so buggy and ■■■■■■. It’s simple, it doesn’t work at launch, we have to wait like 30 sec before the app start to respond, then it can crash it can also just have bugs which doesn’t allow to play a video…
I can’t understand how they can continue to work with new functionalities or something while they got this ■■■■■■ app lmao.
And I mean we are not talking about a ps3 huh it’s a ps5 damn. All my friends who got plex on ps5 got the same issues étc it’s the worst app ever. Maybe guys it’s time to wake and fix this no ?!
I have not run into any crashes so far but my PS5 app is endlessly buffering and flat out refuses to play something if I choose the resume option. Only when I mark it as unplayed and start from the beginning will it work decently, as long as I don’t pause, fast forward or go back. Never had these issues on PS4 and my experience with the PS5 app has been nothing but misery so far.
The fact we got an update for the PS5 app today that, according to the patchnotes, only updated the branding is absolutely embarassing.
Really hope they fix it soon because the state it’s in is unacceptable.
Hello, the problem is that Ps5 can’t play mkv video without conversion. One way out is to watch movies and series in mp4. There is also a problem with the playback of subtitles, they can often disappear, there is nothing to help here. For example, I use the server version v 1.25.5.5492, since the item below in the photo does not work in the new ones.
