I have been a Plex user for years, but ever since I bought a Plex Pass I have had nothing but problems with the connection of the player version on Apple TV. And now with this latest Plex version, it has gone from bad to worst.
On Qnap I can’t even open Plex. Plex can’t find connect to Qnap on the Player.

What is going on? Where does Plex provide CLEAR AND CONCISE instructions? I have been messing with this for 4 hours and nothing.

Any ideas please - very frustrated here.

  1. With the server part of your account,
  2. Install the app on the player
  3. The Plex apps will want to Sign In (Don’t do it manually by IP)
  4. They will give you a LINK code.
  5. Open the browser to Link | Plex
  6. Type in the code
  7. Wait a few moments for Plex.tv to contact your player and complete connecting it to your server.
  8. Connection completed.
