My server are converting a movie i am watching remotley, why? I have not set anything to be converted. I have a 500mbit connection to my nas, so i should have no issues with Upload speeds. So why are my ios plex player reporting that the nas are converting the movie? The nas are doing it cause the cpu gets pinned at 100%. This is not something i want it to do.
My phone have 115mbit connection right now and speeds at home are 495mbit up and down. So why can i not stream without converting.
Phone says i need 7724kbps but only 2000kbps are available. That are just not true 
Additionally to the server remote connection settings, the iOS Plex app has its own bandwidth preference for remote connections. Verify that it is not limited to 2 mbps.
Another thing to check: is your server directly(!) accessible from the outside?
If not, Plex is reverting to the Plex relay connection – which happens to be limited to 2mbps for Plex Pass holders.

I have it set to a manual port. It has full remote access enabled and it lights up green. I have tripple checked the port and it is opened. I have no limit on upload speeds.
IOS app are set to unlimited.
I though PLEX would be a refined media service. But tbh this is giving me headache then when i was using kodi.
I have the same issue accessing from a browser using a computer. It says system dont have enough power to convert the video. But i just want direct play. I dont have anything set to be converted.
Now it worked for a few minutes then it limits itself and says i dont have enough bandwidth. Why are plex so unreliable? What giving me these issues? My router? Since you did mention then 2mbit limit, i can assume my portforwarding can be an issue? I removed the port now to see it that helps. Looking at how much bandwidth are used now when i removed the port from plex server, it is more consistent then before.

I solved this. I ran a port to my server but that seem to have bin the issue. Cause i got limited to 2mbit which is what happens when plex are in relay connection . So even though my port was opened my asus lyra routers had issue directing traffic. So i removed having a single port and now it streams perfect. A lot faster response and no stuttering or anything.
