Hi, I’m trying to watch a film with a friend using watch together. Everything is working fine, but the quality on my friend PC is stuck at “Convert in 2Mbit 720p” while the original video is 8Mbps.
I have 20Mbit in upload so it shouldn’t be an issue at all.
In her client, in “quality” she selected “max”.
How can we solve it?
Could be some bad remote access setup where the traffic is routed through a relay server of Plex. Those indirect connections have a limited bandwidth.

You should be able to see that from the now-playing dashboard of your server, while your friend is playing a video from your server (connection should be labelled as Indirect instead of Remote).
If that issue persists you should take a look at the remote access troubleshooting to identify what’s causing this.
