I can’t be the only person that find this feature causes more headaches then solutions. The buffer time before movies/tv shows is slowed greatly, sometimes not even loading at all. On vizio, lg, doesn’t matter what device. IMO just remove it and let the user set their own or just have it default to 4mb like it used to. Again, I don’t know what you are trying to accomplish with this. I read the original post from the plex employee about it being sent out to more clients. Happy to know that even more clients in the future will be negatively impacted by this feature that defaults to on. I have had like 4-5 friends hit me up asking me why movies don’t load anymore. Uncheck the “Quality Suggestion” tickbox and solved. Stop fixing stuff that isn’t broken. You add more trash features than useful ones and have for at least the last 2 years. Nothing is innovating anymore. If another major player comes into the mix, which will in time as all things get competitors, you will need to make smarter decisions.
