I am thinking of two alternatives.
- Using a Nvidia 1660 based graphics card with patched drivers
or - Using a P2000 graphics card
If I understand it correct both can deliver about the same capacity but the 1660 might have a better image quality due to a newer chip gpu but there is always the issue of a problem in the future for the drivers to that one.
The new compouter that I will build will have a Razor 9 3960x or a i9 10940 cpu and none of them have graphics insice them, the computer will also run a couple of Hyper-V instances but the Plex server will be on the primary os that is not virualized (I do not think HW Transcoding wil work in an virtal os on that machine). And for now all movies will be in 1080p not 4k.
Any input ot thoughts on this?
