Hi, I’ve been trying out the new Xbox app and it’s pretty great for the most part. The only problem I’ve found so far is when a video is paused the time bar UI doesn’t auto hide after a few seconds. It’s also impossible to manually hide it by pressing the “B” button on the controller. (both of these options were available in the “old” app)
Is this a bug? If not, It seems like a pretty significant oversight concerning content with subtitles. Currently the paused UI is fairly intrusive, especially the icons (play, fast-forward, rewind etc.), which can almost totally obscure any subtitles behind them.
Is there anyway to enable either the auto or manual hide functionality? Hopefully there is just a setting somewhere that I’ve missed and someone can point me in the right direction.
