Random Album Radio - Plex / Alexa NOT WORKING ANYMORE

Server Version#: latest as of Aug 26.2021
Player Version#: Plex skill in Alexa

I updated to the new Plex server today on my Mac and Alexa now cannot play “Random Album Radio” anymore. It says “not enough music in my library to create a radio station.”

Asking it to play Library radio doesn’t work either.
But if I ask it to “put on some music” it plays “Library Radio”

It would be nice to get Random Album Radio functionality back!
Every time I update this server, something breaks! Lol

Something is really dorked up. I too have updated (now running 1.24.1.4931 on Fedora 33) and can not play anything let alone “Random Album Radio!”

Interesting… my 1st generation Echos are working including Random Album Radio. But my 2nd generation Echo refuses to play nice with Plex Media Server, period! Plexamp seems happy.

I have power cycled the 2nd gen devices and rebooted Plex server problem persists.

4th gen Echo Dot is happy and working.

2nd gen Echo Dot working as well. Seems the problem, for my environment, is limited to the 2nd gen Echo. @mougats what Echo device are you using?

While I have not changed anything on my side of the equation, the aforementioned 2nd generation Echo is now fully working. I presume it got some update from the cloud?!?

My environment is fully operational now. (Scratches head)

So I guess I’m the only one?
Going to have to either downgrade AGAIN, or wait til the next update and hope it fixes it.

Echo Plus, and Echo Dot are the 2 devices i’m using. If that makes any difference at all.
