Correct. And my raspberry is really an energy monitor, its not located where my storage is located, my storage is connected to another device. But mostly i use the DNS feature so i can use USA netflix. I know i can do this in linux, but then i would need to change config on ATV for different apps.
it would be very easy if i could just use the energy monitor machine. Considering how sloooow plexconnect is on raspberry, how could PMS work on this machine, zero transcoding?
Will plexconnect run nicely on RPI2 (yes i know its a bit of guess until some one tests it)
Some people cannot afford to leave the PlexConnect machine awake 24x7. But it's possible to install dnsmasq in some routers, and I think that dnsmasq can also be installed in the RasPI. This way PlexConnect needs not be running 24x7 (only the dnsmasq service really needs 24x7 availability). I think that the RasPI can also send the magic packet to wake-on-lan the machine where PlexConnect (and probably also PMS) is installed.
Thanks how would i either run dnsmasq or plex connect (plexconnect probably keep it more consistent) to handle the DNS for ATV and reach the plex connect/pms machine only when trailers is requested?
