That would be great Dale!
Another thing; I have noticed that when starting video playback, the volume level isn't respected, it plays back at full volume, when I click the + or - on my keyboard, it immediately jumps to the correct setting.
I'm using rc9-j and analog audio output.
Can this be fixed somehow (it can be a bit disturbing late at night on my Pi in the bedroom)? :)
Wow, just wow.
Haven’t been using rasplex for a few weeks, installed rc9 last night on a flash cart and booted it up a few minutes ago and I’m amazed by the work you guys have done! It’s behaving pretty good! Was really blown away when I took the remote of my tv and was able to use it to navigate! Haven’t watched an episode or movie yet (I’m not watching anything for 40 days, my way of fasting this year, it’s harder than I imaged!) but this already looks really promising.
I was just thinking, wouldn’t it be awesom to have a plex inspired case for the rs-pi? To make it a real eye catcher next to the tv (when paying close attention:P) I do not have the skills for something like that, but just throwing it out here to see what you guys think of it!
And while I’m at it, why not another idea! When the case is realized, there could be a way of selling pre installed, good looking rasplex devices for the not so Linux/code skilled plex enthusiastic’s
Keep up the good work!
Should this work on composite video? I can’t seem to get any output on composite when I boot into rasplex. It seems to work with my other pi distros.
Thanks
Thought I would come on to see we are in Beta? I’m sure you guys needed a break!
Cant wait until the new update
Us composites are the minority, that's why it's important that we test and communicate. :)
rasplex is hard-wired for hdmi. To make it work on composite, you need to make two changes:

Comment out the hdmi settings in config.txt

Once Plex is loaded, change audio output from HDMI to analog
To change the HDMI settings in config.txt, plug the SD card in to the computer, and edit the file with a text editor. the lines you are looking to remove or comment out are:
hdmi_force_hotplug=1<br />
hdmi_drive=2
Thanks.
I’ll give this ago. I don’t think my problem was helped by the fact that my composite lead seems to be faulty. Perhaps I’ll have more luck with a new one
As far as I know, [you will always need an SD-card](http://jonathanmh.com/boot-raspberry-pi-from-a-usb-stick/).
Are there others that get stuck at the "PLEX for home theater" screen when booting rc9? (written to SD using getrasplex.py) - or is my sd-card broken?
Hi,
For some strange reason the net inferface goes up ad down and after a while (1 min) the connection is lost/goes down.
in plexlog several up and down:

I had the same issue with the first Openelec release.
UPDATE: it was due to the weak power supply (http://forum.stmlabs.com/showthread.php?tid=5493)
This was the key to the solution: "ERROR::dwc_otg_hcd_urb_enqueue:477: Not connected"
This is great! Just installed on my Pi with no issues, booted right up. System connected to my server no problem.
Couple of questions:
[]Is it possible to use wifi? How could I configure it?
[]How can I enable DTS passthrough? I selected it in the preferences, but it does not seem to be doing anything.
Any eta on the beta. Been checking the trello boards and haven’t seen much action
Installing 0.1.15 now. I like the auto update feature!
Oh god it’s so slow
At least he’s working on speed now! Great job Dale and Team!!!
I found that the speed greatly improved in this version after forcing rasplex to cache images
does anyone knows the credentials to ssh into the openelec version?
thanks
Latest version:
plexuser/rasplex
Previous version:
openelec/openelec
Running 0.1.16 now
It reboots everytime a play a movie. I’m happy to send the crash-logs if available
Is your PI overclocked? (have a look at the "config.txt" on your SD System partition. If it is, try without

Hi,
Just come back to this and found your guys awesome work. But how can I try out the 0.1.19 version? I’ve tried restoring the img after downloading it in disk utility and terminal, but neither have worked. Currently have it installed using the installer.
Thanks in advance!
Tom
Will try that. Thanks!
For some reason the image i uploaded was corrupt. The one that is up now is better.
0.1.19 doesn't add any thing for the user though, it's only debug tools -particularly a profiler which will help us figure out how to speed up new versions.
I think i fixed this in 0.1.17.
