First of all thanks for the effort, really appreciate it. I have one issue though. With kwiboos release from back a few days, i had 5.1 sound with my aac encoded files. With this release there is only stereo sound. Is there a setting i did miss? The settings seem to be the same. I didn't specify anything in particular when using kwiboos release.
Edit : Using a PI2 btw.
Edit 2 : Another observation. The GUI seems to be more fluid when using kwiboos release. Tried with the original skin and with Plex Black Edition
As I mentioned to you on the Rasplex facebook page and was informed 128mb memory split was enough.(Which it isn’t)
Failing to add “gpu_mem_1024=256” to the config.txt is a huge oversight.
Just changing that has fixed up the menu stutter it was having, Surely thinking it needed less of a memory split than a model A or B was silly?
Mines currently at “gpu_mem_1024=384” and it’s made it a much more enjoyable experience.
Oh yeah, On a fresh boot it doesn’t like enabling network, You have to go cycle it on/off for it to discover properly tested on 2 different networks so far.
Cheers
Mat

Hozy, Do you find the menu nav in this comparable to Kwikboo's release, Because even after adjusting the gpu_mem_1024 setting, I still think kwiboos menu nav was significantly better.
Holy ■■■■ running them side by side its night and day.
Ok , sorry wrong image , had the PI 1 image , its working on the P2 image sorry
Make sure you download the new installer & in step1 on the installer application, Select Raspberry Pi2.
Could have sworn that's what I did, but reinstalling it worked. Thanks.

No problems finding network on first boot here using wired, are you using wired or WiFi, on WiFi you need to complete the initial screens until Home screen appears and then go into System Settings to choose WiFI connection.

NedtheNerd, Definitely no where near the same navigation speed ill video them both and you can see, Same Power Supply, same SD card.
Any reason to run this on an "old" Pi-B ? Or should I just wait till I get a Pi2? B)
The menu sound goes through HDMI while everything else goes through the 3.5 mm jack.
