I haven’t bought a raspberry pi yet but I know rasplex doesn’t look like the newest update of plex media center (correct me if I’m wrong). So can install windows 7 or 10 on the pi and install plex on windows 10?
Rasplex is a Plex Client only, not a server.
Running plex server on the Pi is not officially supported.
And no, you can’t run Windows on the Pi.
The RP generally doesn’t have the resources to run windows 10 (or 7). You might be referring to the windows IOT version, but that doesn’t run regular apps. YOu’re going to have a hell of a time getting that combo to work (though I could be wrong, someone may have hacked their way onto it), and if you get it working, it wont preform as well (not to mention paying for the license). Better bet might be to try raspbian and plex:
