The Pi2 seems to be out of stock everywhere. Where can one buy them?

I'm looking forward a final version to be available rasplex before investing in a raspberry 2. Thank you for your work.

super I'll try to order one right away. ^_^
The windows installer doesn't work under Win 7 Ultimate for me, googled and found quite a few posts with the same problem, i.e. nothing in the drop-down lists and everything greyed out.
Tried an old XP VM I have and it works fine.
Does the installer require any dependencies?
Win 8 works fine for me too.....
Kudos
I have now tried with DTS-HD MA and TrueHD. They do not work. Apparently the hardware supports it, but software does not.

Wait...what?
I've just bought (at an inflated scarcity rate) a Pi2 fully intending to use HD Audio in plex.
Gutted if this doesn't pass-through HD Audio.....
Kudos
Same here. It does not work until someone makes it work towards the GPU.Wait...what?

The GPU (which drives hdmi) is unchanged compared to the old RPi versions.
It is not totally in vain for me though. I will move it into the bedroom and it can be the secondary Plex client instead of the old PS3 I have there now.
Does RasXBMC or OpenELEC pass-through the HD Audio?
No.Does RasXBMC or OpenELEC pass-through the HD Audio?
So a hardware limitation then…?

No. Software. As I wrote a few posts up: https://forums.plex.tv/topic/144235-raspberrypi-2/?p=851108
Might be a hardware limitation yes. See posts below.

Any update?
Unfortunately it’s not looking promising.
It seems that DTS-MA and TrueHD both require an 8 channel, 192kHz audio stream (even for 48kHz audio) which is something that’s never been tried on the hardware,
and so far, doesn’t seem to be working.
As a consolation, we should be able to get multi channel PCM working (e.g. for multichannel AAC or PCM streams).

If the hardware support is there, would XBMC software support [1] be enough or is something like a driver missing?
The hardware doesn’t support it. See viewtopic.php?f=63&t=16821&start=100#p417424
Reading through dom’s various posts, it does seem to be a hardware issue, although the pi 1 worked…so I’m a little confused as the hardware is unchanged.

Look at that, I missed that thread completely. According to him it looks bleak if I interpret that correctly.
Install what... Onto what?
Kwiboo version onto the raspberry pi 2? download the package git-hub but its only 12 megs big?
So is there a small Plex client that can pass through HD? I've heard the Chromebox can...?....

I thought the only client was PlexHT on Windows 8. You could build a plex player with an Intel NUC that could do this.

I have been told by Tobias that PHT on Linux can as well, so not only Windows. The rest is up to the hardware.
I have Windows 7 on my dualboot machine (2012 Mac Mini) and it can do HD audio passthrough. So not only Windows 8 either.
