Yes, definitely works. Pressed 2234 for 00:22:34 followed by OK and got straight to that time. Only thing I did before was (at least I think so) was mapping the Number keys from my remote to the according numbers of rasplex.

I used to have a Zappiti player which had a good system. Whichever number you pressed on the keypad while playing took you to a % distance e.g. press 1 took you to 10%, 5 took you to 50% , 9 to 90% etc ...
Can you think of any way to do that in Rasplex ??
