Hi I've searched the forums and the specific posts of rasplex ..openelec even samsung,, and the black skin edition and I haven't found a real hint to my problem
I've recently purchased a Rasperry Pi2 & installed Rasplex 0.6 set up everything correctly and working on my TV (samsung ue37es6100)
Installed the PlexHT Black edition skin and it works well as I can play the on deck recently added or next tv show correctly
with the exceptions than when going into tv shows or movies where normally there should be a cover popup or similar animation depending on the view type,
the section loads and shows the first tvshow with the description but I can't select or change or anything else rather than going back to the previous menu,
I've tried as well other skins and they do the same (AEON for example), as well I've disabled all view types or left only one to force change it so see if it's the format of the view type or leaving only the basic plex native one and it does the same as possibly it has a tweaked animation (cover zoom or tilt or similar),
the information loads correctly so it doesn't hang.. but when i try to move left right up or down to select the next movie/tvshow it does not do anything,
I suspect it's the TV.. as I've plugged the Rasp on another TV (Phillips.. can't remember the model but older) and it works flawlessly, all animations on any view type and section work correctly so there's something my TV sends to the raspberry that it doesn't like
As well I disabled CEC and used an USB keyboard to see if that produced any change..

Might be better to get this moved to the Rasplex sub-forum - more likely to get a response, click the Report button and ask for it to be moved.
Really strange as I use the DeadEyeFlint's Black Edition on all four of my RPi's (combination of RPi1 and RPi2), does the default Plex skin work OK? If so, I would suggest that there is something wrong with the skin installation and I would recommend deleting the skin directory and copying a fresh downloaded skin to your SD card, To do this, remove the directory, reboot, copy new folder, reboot, then select skin in Preferences.
Thank you for your response, it’s something to do with the TV as it works on another tv I’ve tried actually I downloaded nearly all of the skins to try out and the ones that don’t work well on my Samsung are the ones with animation it’s strange… I’ll try to get this moved to the resplex subforum
