Did note that the Rotten Tomato icon has appeared on a movie I added to plex server after I update to 0.7.1; but it defiantly should not be there considering I to not have the agent installed and thus no need for the Rotten Tomato icon to appear on movie information.
Hello. Thanks for the work. Still in love with Rasplex ;).
Got 0.7.1 installed this morning, but I met a small problem : When I sort movies by “recently added”, I can now only browse the 100 first movies. Need to sort alphabetically to be able to browse the entire database.
@Kwiboo On Plex Web, Plex Android and Plex iOs, I can browse my entire movie list, sorted by date of addition. And I was able to do so on Rasplex up to 0.7.0. In fact, this is my default browse mode on all my Plex devices. But since 0.7.1, I’m stuck with only the first 100 movies on Rasplex.
@zejedi You should still be able to sort by date added, but you have to select All Movies and then change the sort order. The Recently Added and Recently Released mode has always been disabled in PHT, we enabled it in RasPlex 0.7.1 since the default skin now support scrolling in the filter menu.
How long should this update take (approx.)?
I tried updating through the Rasplex user interface ‘upgrade and restart’. Started updating but stopped after a few minutes and turned my screen black.
Have been staring at a black screen for 15 minutes now.
Little bit reluctant to take the power of the pi with the risk of corrupting the SD card.
Advice?
Sorry but got impatient,
Took the power of as there was no progress or change what so ever.
And as I expected the SD card is corrupt, installing Rasplex from scratch using the updated installer.
Guess the will work, but a shame that I have all this extra work, but then again; that is the risk when using pré release versions. Thanks for all the hard work you guys put into this.
It should only take a couple of minutes, suggest reflashing card, sorry.
If you want to save your settings, copy the /storage/.plexht/userdata/guisettings.xml to your PC/Mac and then copy back once Rasplex has booted from re flashed card.
@Kwiboo OK, I understand what you mean. My message was not clear. So here’s what I do : From the main menu, I go in “Cinema” (1.000+ movies showing), then sort by “Recently added” and only 100 movies left. Whereas with 0.7.0 I could then browse my entire movie list sorted by date of addition.
I don’t use the “recently added” list from the desktop.
@zejedi Recently Added and Recently Released are two new options that was enabled in RasPlex 0.7.1, to get your desired result you need to select All Movies (All Cinema maybe) at the top and then change to Date Added under the sort options, then should you see all your movies in the order you want. If this do not work then there is a bug.
Filters and sort options are only enabled when All library is selected. Recently Released, On Deck, Recently Added and Recently Viewed are predefined presets that cannot be filtered/sorted and matches the same presets that exists in Plex Web and other Plex applications.
@Kwiboo thanks for being so patient with such a moron like me. I didn’t saw that there were new options here. You’re right, I can get my movie list sorted by addition; Thanks a lot.
