Does rasplex/raspberry pi 2 support 4k content?
In fact does the PMS support 4k?
I havent tried it but was thinking of getting a 4k TV soon and although content is currently very limited would like to future proof, as ultra HD Blu-ray should be releasing soon.
No, the Raspberry Pi 1 & 2 don’t support decoding 4k content in hardware.

On a side note, and a bit off topic, has anyone used plex on the Nvidia Shield? I have had a look and it supports 4k and most of the video/audio codecs. Just wondered if anyone has a comparison of their experience on the shield compared to the Pi?
