Rasplex audio problem

Hi,

I’m stuck with a little problem.

Since i installed Rasplex 1.0 i’m struggeling with an audio problem.
When playing soms files (all MKV’s) in certain scenes the music gets really low and the soud effects are really loud. For example when i watch southpark and the theme song comes up, the music is low and the singing voice is very hard.
I thought it might be something to do with my audio settings so i changed my audi settings to 2.1 and all other options, with the same result. When i watch the file via my chromecast the audio is normal.

My setup
Rasplex 1.0 connected to my Samsung tv via HDMI and an audio set connected to the TV via 3.5 jack.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Have you tried turning the boost audio preference off?

This setting is on by default, I think it should be off unless the user decides it should be turned on.

I tried that, when i turn it off the audio only gets harder and the harder parts get disttorted

I think you find that this has been reported a number of times, both here and on GitHub. The issue has been identified, fixed, tested and a new release is being prepared.

must me my lack of searching skills than i guess.
Thanks

I’ve just posted a new issue for this here: https://github.com/RasPlex/RasPlex/issues/443 I’ve also searched in vain. @NedtheNerd Could it be that you confuse this issue with the one where audio gets distorted when audio boost setting is turned off? This is something else.

No, I have responded on GitHub
