Rasplex, Broken or missing feature?

Hi

I finally downloaded and created the SD card, booted my raspberry Pi Type B (512MB)

I see Plex on my TV...WOW!!!!

I go through the menu with m LG TV remote (CEC works!)

then what I see ??? my 1TB HDD is not mounted ??? logged in through ssh and there is no way I can do a fdisk !!! I can see in the messages that the USB HDD is detected (sda)

to test I connected a USB flash...still I cannot see it mounted....

how does the mounting work ?? or there is no way to mount a USB HDD

also I wanted to install lvm2 tools as I have a lvm configured disk...

please help, I had to resort to raspbian (media server)

RasPlex is meant to be used with Plex Media Server right now. http://rasplex.com/documentation/rasplex-setup-basics.html

I don't know if plex works with USB media...

RasPlex is meant as a Plex client - with a server as backend.

Take a look at the OpenELEC wiki on how to achieve what you're looking for. But local media playback would be not possible with the default skin....

If you primary look for local playback, take a look at XBMC. There is also a plex plugin...
