Hi, I am running a Plex Media Server 0.9.12.18 and a Rasplex 1.0. The following problem occurs: I can transcode every DTS stream with 768 kbit/s, 16 or 24 bit , with or without extension. The Rasplex delivers DTS audio stream and is recognized by the amplifier. But with modern films the standard bitrate for DTS is 1509 kbit/s. In this case the Rasplex delivers PCM as audio output, which I can cannot judge because my AV amplifier uses always Prologic mode for PCM multichannel audio. Anyhow I would expect a DTS stream.
If I use the same film with a PS3 with the Plex client, the PS3 delivers a AC3 multichannel audio stream. So I assume something goes wrong during transcoding. Can you help me ?
Rasplex 6.0 plays DTS 1509 kb/s on pass through without an issue for me , i haven’t tried on transcoding though
