RasPlex Remote Control

Hello,
I just moved from Kodi to Plex.
Is there any android app that I can use as a remote control for the RasPlex? Something like Yatse for Kodi…

I’m using the iOS Plex app. Works fine, as long as you have an iOS device :slight_smile: guessing you’ll find an Android version also.

Is there anything I should configure there? Couldn’t find where exactly I can control it in the app…

Nothing to configure.

  1. Download Android app and login in with username and password.

  2. Open app. Press the ‘cast’ icon at upper right, and choose the client you want to connect to.

  3. The cast icon should turn yellow indication you are connected. You can then browse on your android device. Choose something and press play, and it will start playing on your client.

  4. There is also a Remote Control with a basic directional pad available. Tap the 3 vertical dots at upper right and choose ‘Remote’.

I had been using Swift Remote, but it stopped working with the latest server update.

Is the network protocol for Plex Companion available anywhere? I could probably knock something up for basic remote functionality over a few evenings.
