Rasplex Videos not working

Have an issue with videos not playing on the Pi. When I select the video it will present the "Please Wait" message then just fall back to the video title screen.

The issue seems to be specific to wifi on the Pi,  iOS devices stream content just fine over WiFi.

Any ideas?

I have the same problem, I can play one file from one section (I have multiple sections) jump to another play a video go back to the same section and then cannot play any big files at all (files about 4gb each). The only files it will play when it starts to do this are my tv recordings(about 200-450mb)

I only started using RasPlex last week and have tired all versions (1.37, 1.38, 1.39 1.40 & 2.0) i too are on wifi and do know about the network key problem but thought to try those versions anyways.

Unfortunately version 2.1 has the same problem. How do i create a log file?

I've just created a guide on how to do this: http://forums.plexapp.com/index.php/topic/73556-guide-how-to-report-rasplex-problems/

Ok here is my log file from the samba share. RasPlex 0.2.1 Clean Install, Running Usb but same problem on SD

Thanks. The most important logfile is missing: The PlexHT logfile. (The next relase will include this log into the archive too - but is not supported with 0.2.1). Please grab the log manually via ssh/scp)

Sorry when i get home i'll try again and resubmit

Ok got the right files. One before opening any media and the 2nd is after playing some files and then having the problem. I also noticed that when the problem starts to happen that the On Deck and Recently Added can disappear.

Hope this helps

Looks like a PMS related problem for me. You should check for a newer version and / or check the PMS logfiles. This might be a issue with a not accessible share / disk too (where the actual data is stored).

EDIT:
Would you please try to access http://192.168.1.1:32400/library/metadata/3410?checkFiles=1 and post the results.

Thanks.

Ok so i updated from v0.9.7.17 to v0.9.7.28.33 still the same thing :(

I've included another log file and the info u requested

Tryed rebooting and still On Deck and Recently Added disappear and then big files fail to play. Tried the same test on my Samsung TV and the problem does not occur.

I have attached another log file

Are you able to access this file? http://192.168.1.1:32400/library/parts/12820/file.mp4 (Multiple times?)
Would you please upload your server logfile too. - Thanks.

192.168.1.1:32400/library/parts/12820/file.mp4 (Video can't be played file corrupt ????) WTF All the others are the same except for

192.168.1.1:32400/library/parts/12649/file.mp4 (Played Fine)

I really appreciate your trouble, but whats going on?

Is this media stored locally on the PMS? If not: check your share.

Are the files ok? - Do they play fine directly? (Without plex)

Yes, Yes & Yes, Strange thing is these files will play after rebooting Rasplex, its only after you have watched a couple that the problem appears again

Sorry for the delay in providing my log files. Please find them attached. Appreciate you assistance.

FYI...Media is stored locally on my PC running PMC and play just fine directly (as well as via plex running on iOS devices over WiFi)
