Rasplex without Internet Connection

Hi guys, apologies if this has been asked before but... I can't connect or see any media from my plex server if my rasplex isn't connected to the internet. Is this normal and if so WHY!!

Its not usually a problem however my isp are doing maintenance and I can't watch anything.

Nevermind and apologies for wasting anyones time.............. I didn't have the correct settings on my Plex Server to allow my client access without authorising first.
