It gets four stars just for getting John Cusack and Jackie Chan in the same movie and 1 star for some decent fight scenes, but I felt the overall movie was poorly written with a slightly boring plot and some really bad acting...

Like my time travel (type) of mind mending movies, this was fairly original and entertaining for a mid-budget film.
Zombeavers. 1/10. Gets one point for the lame pun in the title. Only an hour and 15 minutes or so but felt a lot longer. I’m usually a sucker for those `so bad they’re great’ movies but this was just bad.
Perfume: The Story of a Murderer 7/10
A young man with a unique talent - kinda like Edward Scissorhands. Ok, maybe not.

Romantic Comedy with Lake Bell and Simon Pegg. I noticed Simon Pegg in the credits and since I like the other movies I’ve seen him in, I decided to give it a go - glad I did.

The Martian (2015) 9.0/10
A very entertaining modern day Robinson Crusoe film - only on a different planet with the unlucky NASA astronaut-botanist Mark Watney - the first space pirate. I really liked this movie and will definitely add it to my collection when released on DVD.

I had no idea who Dalton Trumbo was, his story, or that he was instrumental in some of my favorite movies, e.g. “Roman Holiday”, “Papillion”, and yes “Lonely are the Brave”

Me Before You (2016)
Sappy melodrama, which I would normally steer away from. Dang it, I liked this one. Acting was fine and the music interleaved with the movie worked.
