I recently started to use plex. Tracks in my music collections has already ratings, saved in tags. Unfortunately, when i created music library in plex, ratings was not imported.
So, it would be nice if plex reads this tags and shows them in libraries
Since Plex doesn’t change your media files in any way, it won’t be able to change the embedded ratings if you change them inside a Plex client. Which would make this a one-way street.
It is one of the main reasons why this isn’t implemented any time soon.
A request for the same feature exists already, and it has more votes.
Therefore this one is closed, to prevent spreading the votes across several threads, even though they vote for the same (or at least very similar thing).
