Playlists that include content from libraries marked Visibility: Exclude from home screen and global search nonetheless continue to show playlist thumbnails, playlist entries, and recommended playlists entries on the home screen.
Playlists are treated separately from a single library. The visibility setting of a library doesn’t apply to how they’re displayed on your Home Screen.
IIRC, you’ll need to unpin the playlists section to remove playlist related hubs from the Home Screen.
