I have videos I’ve tried to hide but they still appear
on the home screen and dashboard.
I’m going to show pictures showing setting is right and a screenshot of item still appearing in places I specifically decline it to.

I see the screenshot of the settings. Now a screenshot of your homepage where these libraries still apparently show up. It sounds like you wanted to include it, but might have forgotten.
Edit the individual Library Settings
Advanced
Visibility → Exclude from home screen
