This is an interesting one here.
Everything works as remote access to the server but the macos Plex app does not, any idea on what is going on? Is there a way to point the app to the IP@ of the server since it seems like it is unable to get the IP@???
With the ios app, it is possible to input the server IP, but can not find the option with the macOS app…

Are we actually talking about remote access (accessing your server from outside your home network) or the app just failing to connect to your server in general?
If both the server and apps are signed into your account and there’s no weird network stuff or filtering, the two should see each other without further ado. Any VPNs involved?
Access from outside my network. It works fine when on the network. But when outside it just doesn’t work, no vpn involved.
