Re-did my entire network, Plex devices no longer see my media *(ALL FIXED NOW)*

Server Version#:1.41.0.8994
Player Version#: multiple
Lifetime Plex Pass

EDIT 2: All issues now fixed

EDIT: Issue one has been resolved of not seeing my media on any plex players. I screwed up the IP for adding the VLAN to the QNAP firewall by one digit and bent myself over a barrel. I only focused on the last two octets and didn’t look before that to verify it was accurate…failure on my part. :face_with_monocle: The second issue I have not fixed yet scroll down to the past the *********.

With Issue one some key points, depending on the NAS verify your firewall inside the NAS if it has one has the correct IP address that will be accessing it, also if on VLAN’s they are setup correctly. Start with all the rules open and make it work, then lock down using one or two rules at a time and verify when you break it. Then go back and look at that rule how you can make it better or more specific.

************* Now to fix this************

The second issue is getting the second NAS (also a QNAP) to run a Plex server. I loaded the 3rd party Plex software on the NAS, same firmware version. I got just past the login part and get the dreaded…“Not Authorized…you do not have access to this server” message. I was logged into my other Plex server at the same time so not sure if I you can only be logged into one at a time or not. Either way I hope to get both up and running eventually.

This was fixed using this Plex forum post:
You Are Not Authorized (?).

For me I had to verify the NAS allowed to SSH into it. Then put the UserCredentialReset file in the correct folder, the one that poster used worked for me. Once I got into the NAS by SSH it wasn’t that big of a deal.
