First of all, I need to highlight that everything below happens when remote streaming and on all players above.
Every movie I stream with direct play buffers reeeeally slowly, if I won’t pause and let it buffer from beginning it will freeze every other second, however, when I switch to convert to similar bitrate and quality from the start it buffers forward really quick and it plays smoothly.
For example: h264 1080p 6mbps -> 720p 4mbps, h264 1080p 16mbps -> 1080p 12mbps.
Direct Play h264 1080p 6mbps buffers all the time whereas converted 1080p 12mbps plays smoothly.
My upload is 60mbps and it’s the only stream at the time.
Is there something in logs that would explain this behavior? Or is it problem with my broadband?
