Direct Play stream buffering

Server Version#: 1.15.1.791
Player Version#: any platform any player

So my users reported me, their remote streams were buffering.
We found out, Direct stream and Direct play was buffering only.
No problem with transcodes.

The bandwidth whouldn’t be a problem, as even small bitrate videos had problems, and I have a 25 mbps upload speed.
Changing to transcode solves all the problem.
I’ve attached the log. Looking for “buffering” in it will provide details.
Anyone any idea?

Would you mind providing the FULL log set and collecting the properly?

  1. start playback
  2. Recreate the issue in a controlled test case
  3. Stop playback when recreated
  4. Wait 30 seconds
  5. Settings - Server - Troubleshooting - Download Logs
  6. Attach the ZIP file here.

i got the same issue , got a 200+ mbps up/down speed. you can check my thread, got the log files there aswell

I looked which is why I asked for the full set.

Intresting update. It just started to buffering on local direct play stream also.
The hell is going on here? :smiley:

I’m starting to beleive the proble is more connected to the Ubiquiti USG I’m using.
Anyone here using USG?
